On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister did what the world thought was impossible —
he broke the four-minute mile barrier.
For decades, scientists said it couldn’t be done.
The human body wasn’t built for it. The limit was fixed.
But when Bannister crossed that line in 3:59.4, something more powerful than a record was broken — belief itself.
Within weeks, others did what no one had ever done before.
Because once belief breaks through… everything changes.
We believe the same thing is happening now — not on the track, but in the hearts of parents everywhere.
Because there’s another barrier no one talks about: the gap between runners chasing dreams and parents trying to keep up.
WE KNOW WE’RE NOT ALONE.
When we first stepped into the world of running, we had no clue what we were doing.
We came from the swimming and water polo world, where running was cross-training — not a calling.
We were just parents… packing snacks, cheering from the fence, and hoping our effort was enough.
Then came a race we’ll never forget.
October 2021 — League Finals.
Our 15-year-old son, Justus, gave everything he had...
but crossed the line last — depleted, demoralized, and under-fueled.
The car ride home was silent.
Then from the back seat, he said quietly:
“I will become a champion… whatever it takes.”
That moment changed everything.
We didn’t start as runners.
We started as parents — trying to help a kid chase a dream we didn’t yet understand.
So we went all in: nutrition, coaches, recovery, altitude, mindset… the whole nine yards.
Somewhere along the way, we realized:
it wasn’t just his race.
It was every runner’s race — the kids chasing dreams no one fully sees, showing up early, staying late, carrying more than anyone realizes.
And it wasn’t just their race — it was ours too.
Because behind every runner is a parent who believes, who sacrifices, and who wonders if they’re doing enough.
So we joined the journey — not just for our son, but for every runner and every parent who’s ever stood on the fence line, hoping their effort was enough.
We even started an altitude camp in Flagstaff, and slowly, we began to see something shift —
not just in one athlete, but in families, communities, and the running ecosystem itself...
proving that when parents grow, the entire sport rises.
Since then, we haven’t just lived this with our own family — we’ve shared it with runners and parents around the world.
Through Just Us Running and Victory Altitude Camp, our online content has reached up to 820,000 runners per month, teaching the same principles of belief, recovery, rhythm, and resilience.
But along the way, we realized something: the biggest breakthroughs don’t happen when runners learn alone — they happen when parents learn too.
We’ve also seen what most parents never talk about:
Great coaches under impossible pressure with too few resources.
Runners pushed past their limits before they ever break through.
Parents carrying the weight alone — searching not just for information, but for guidance: how to support without smothering, empower without pressuring, and believe without breaking.
Families stretched thin — not from lack of love, but from lack of rhythm and communication.
None of this is anyone’s fault.
It’s a system that was never built for the modern parent–runner journey.
THAT’S WHY WE BUILT RUNNERPARENT.
To support the constellation that surrounds every runner:
parents, coaches, and communities working together toward victory.
Because when parents grow, everyone wins — the runners, the coaches, and the families behind them all.
That’s when we discovered what we now call Victory In Every Step™ —
the belief that forward is a pace, and that progress isn’t measured by outcomes, but by the courage to stay present in every attempt—win, lose, fail, or succeed—and to find victory in the process itself.
Then we noticed something else:
Every few years, as runners graduate, parents cycle out — taking their hard-won wisdom with them, while new parents start over from scratch.
We decided to change that.
RunnerParent was born to preserve that wisdom, unite parents, and empower the next generation to lead with belief instead of burnout.
Because this isn’t just about our kids.
It’s about all of our runners.
Every team. Every season. Every story worth believing in.
THIS IS OUR FOUR-MINUTE MILE MOMENT.
Together, RunnerParents are becoming the heartbeat of the running world —
where purpose replaces pressure, and belief fuels every step.
One step. One victory. One story at a time.
Join the movement behind every runner’s breakthrough.

This integrated system turns scattered efforts into a clear rhythm your whole family can walk together.
When you join the Legacy Circle, you don’t just get support — you unlock our private operating framework for raising strong, confident, resilient runners: The RunnerParent Sherpa Method™.
This is the behind-the-scenes model we use to help parents “bridge the ravines” every runner eventually faces — low iron, burnout, anxiety, puberty slumps, under-fueling, injuries, confidence dips, team drama, and the moments that feel impossible to navigate alone.
Just like the Sherpas in Everest who place the ladder across the impossible gaps, the Sherpa Method™ shows you exactly how to guide your runner through the hard places without pressure — and with wisdom, calm, and confidence.
Integrated into our 5 Pillars, the Sherpa Method™ becomes your family’s map and ladder — giving you the tools, the language, and the leadership to help your runner rise higher than they ever thought possible.
This proprietary method is only taught inside the Legacy Circle — and it’s one of the reasons our families experience breakthrough after breakthrough.

🖊️The RunnerParent Commitment:
Victory in Every Step™

At RunnerParent, belief meets biology — and purpose meets performance. We’re not guessing our way toward growth — we’re using science-backed strategies proven to help runners and parents thrive together.
Inside the Legacy Circle, you’ll learn the science behind breakthrough:
Because transformation isn’t random.
It’s repeatable — when you know the system.
This is where belief meets evidence — and victory becomes measurable.
Where belief replaces burnout — and community replaces confusion.
You wake up on race day — calm, confident, and connected.
You look around and realize… you’re not doing this alone anymore.
Because this time, you’re surrounded by a family of parents and runners walking the same path.
This is what happens when you find your people.
This is what happens when belonging replaces burnout.
This is your Now and Not Yet.
This is our Four-Minute-Mile Moment.
You’re helping redefine what it means to be a RunnerParent... to believe deeply, lead wisely, and love boldly. Because when parents rise, runners rise. And when families thrive, communities flourish.
💬 This is your chance to build something that lasts.

For years, through the Just Us Running community, our content reached up to 820,000 youth runners every month — inspiring them to believe, train smart, recover well, and chase big dreams.
We heard their messages. We saw their struggles. We felt their heart.
And over time, something became crystal clear:
The fastest way to change a runner’s future is to strengthen the parent who walks beside them.
That’s why we created Legacy Circle — to bring parents into the equation,
to give them the tools their runners desperately need, and to build a movement of families rising together.
But don’t take our word for it.
Here’s what runners themselves are saying…
